Grooming my jersey wooley can be a big challenge especially cause she doesn’t like it. The most effective tools I have is a metal comb and this brush:
The little metal comb i use is in the background. I prefer that one cause its easy to handle cause its small and has two different width teeth. Got it at my local pet supplies plus for puppies and small dogs. The safari brush (also at pets supplies plus) is a dematting comb with blades at the top (not too sharp, don’t worry) that is absolutely wonderful to untangle and break up mats quickly. Depending on how wooley your jersey wooley is i’d recommend at least once a week. Once a week seems to keep the mats at bay and tiny and easy to work out. Probably once every few days will keep your rabbit completely groomed! I hope this helps!

Well, please post pictures when you get her…. also, is she young? Because Smokey wasn’t as wooley as she is now when she was a baby… here is some young pics and here is her full woolyness! So you may not need to groom her as much as when she is a baby then when she is an adult. But i’d start when she is a baby so she is use to grooming and doesn’t put up a fuss when you do have to groom her.

Ahhh grooming tools
First I use
this one for the tangles. I start at the end of her hair farthest from her body and work my way up to her body. Then I use this one
well the one on the bottom with the orange in it. The hairbuster. I lift the upper hair up and comb her bottom hair in a layer. Then I put the top layer down and comb it.Then I use the slicker brush on top there to finish up. I use it on her tummy too. So start early with your bunny so she won’t fuss when she gets older and is shedding heavy.
Here is a pic of her tiara. I found it on the ground fortunately. It is perfect. Someone dropped it . If you go to the toy section with dolls you may be able to find something for your bun too. Barrets and stuff.
Lets see if I can find a pic of me grooming my babies. I do them every day now n then I miss a day but not often. Cotton is so soft when I get done with his brushings.OH thats great. I can’t get all my pics from photobucket today. Thats where the vids are. Oh yi. More work for me to do today

I think Jersey Woolly as well.
I use a small comb and a slicker brush on my Jersey Woolly bunny. Just brushing small bits at a time. I’m VERY lucky with his coat, he hardly mats. So Compaired to others I hardly have to brush him at all, maybe monthly, and then more often during molts. It also helps me actually loves being brushes
