My poor Peach forever has mats and knotted hair no matter how much i brush her, i usually use scissors to cut them out but i te ones i have bought from the pet shop are not very good. Does anyone know any really good grooming scissors brands?

        thanks

I have not tried this yet, as I am waiting for my vet to show me so I feel more comfy, but I also have a long haired bun that gets matted on his little bottom no matter what I do. I have heard that nail clippers work well and are less likely to cut/scratch/tear the skin like scissors. My challenge is getting my guy to sit still long enough for me to try LOL!

If I need to snip, then I use some dog scissors with the blunt ends. I don’t know what brand they are though. They aren’t very sharp, which I supposed to be safer. I always hold them with the blades flat in reference to the skin and I never pull. If it’s too close to the skin, I wait for it to work itself out further before I try to cut it.
