Hello!! Just joined and am looking forward to receiving and sharing tips and stories with other bunny lovers like myself
I have owned rabbits all my life, but not until recently did I have a real inside house rabbit. Unfortunatley when I was younger I didn’t understand how much care and attention bunnies need. My father always kept rabbbits in cages outside, and they never received much love and attention. Thankfully now I understand the needs of rabbits, and I must say my litttle lop, Molly, is a spoiled little thing!
I got Molly for my birthday a couple months ago, and right away went to researching the best ways to care for a rabbit. A few hundred dollars later, my Molly is queen of the place! lol She was got from a pet store, and I eventually want to get another rabbit, a male, tho not until she is spayed obviously. I have decided to not get another bunny through a petstore, however, after reading about how so many in rescue shelters are in need of homes. Molly is a lop, and I think she is considered a lions head, though correct me if I am wrong, if you look at her pictures. She is just over 4 months old, and is not spayed yet, tho her surgery is scheduled for March.
She definately has a unique personality, though coming up with one word to describe it is impossible lol She lets me know when she is upset about something, because she makes very loud thumps with her back feet. She also lets me know when she is happy, because she loves binkying around my room like a lunatic! lol She is my best friend, and I couldn’t imagine not having her there to share my life with.
