Charlie is such a good bunny now. H runs around in the hallway at night now. As far as I can tell he uses the litterbox at night too. H e wants to come out but I don’t trust the dogs. If I bonded him with Pinky and Sara Jane would I still be able to take him to work every day?

Forgive me for my poor memory, but are Pinky and Sara Jane the dogs, or two other bunnies?

A bunny really cannot be left unsupervised alone with dogs. The can cohabit in your home, but most people here who have bunnies and dogs say they never leave them alone and out together. It’s just too risky for the bunny.

So I guess you could take him to work as long as you have a nice set up there for him (a cage, water, food and litter) and it’s OK with your coworkers.

Sara Jane and Pinky are rabbits and no I would NEVER leave the dogs and the rabbits together. The buns are in x pens. But I was wondering if it would break the bond if I bonded Charlie(the new bunny) with two older bunnies and he was gone from them all day and only with them at night.

Except for days I didn’t feel like it or I brought the guinea pigs?

My understanding is that bonding a trio can be tricky, so I would work for quite a few weeks on the process of bonding first, then see how they are getting along before deciding to leave them. Sorry about not knowing Sara Jane and Pinky’s true identities. *blush*

Check out the bonding thread for some really good posts on bonding trios.
