I’m going to be putting in some fake wood flooring, it looks like wood, feels like wood…but it’s like….linoleum! Apparently it’s pretty easy to put down, my mom and I can do it ourselves. So I’ve been thinking of possibly taking down my fishtank. If I had another overflowing accident the water can’t hurt the lino…which is why I am “allowed” to put it in my room as well. The only carpet left in the house is my room, the guest room, and my brothers room. The guest rooms carpet still looks new…my brother and I’s ….holy moly it’s bad. I had to buy that throw carpet just so I didn’t have to look at it anymore. I am tempted just to take the tank down so I can have more room in my bedroom and not have to deal with it anymore. But…I’ve never not had an aquarium. I’m going to have to drain it down to move it and can give it a really good clean if I want to set it back up but I am not sure I want to. It’s so much work and the filters are expensive. I am afraid that if I put it in storage it will dry out and leak. I have never resealed a fish tank before and I don’t want anything bad happen to my tank, it’s a perfect reef tank when I get around to that again and I spent 500$ on it…I don’t want it to crack or something. So basically I can take it down, much less work for me, but risk it drying out – or keep it up and deal with it still. Hm.
