so my friend is going on vacation for two weeks and asked if I could babysit her male bunny, since she knows I have good experience with them. I’m super excited because he’s a lop and I get to play with him, but I was just wondering if I can let him approach my own buns? I’ll still keep them completely separated obviously, but I was going to let him go up to the fence and sniff them. there’s no way they can just have a playdate like dogs do, right? because they’re territorial and stuff. I just thought it would be so adorable if they all just liked eachother off the bat and hung out together wishful thinking though, I know. haha.

I’d keep them apart. IF on the rare chance they instantly liked each other, it would be a bond. And separating a bonded pair, or trio, would just be mean. And if they hated each other, they could cause damage to each other, even through a baby gate. Better to just keep him away from them.
