GI stasis and behavioural issues?

I took both my bunnies for their vaccinations yesterday and they come home fine, eating etc. I went to work with a family member checking on them and she said they were eating and I checked on them when I got home around midnight and they were sleeping. I usually give them a bowl of salad but left it in their pens so I didn’t wake them up.

In the morning, I realised that one of the bunnies peanut had not touched her food at all (both living in side by side pens because of bonding) which is extremely unusual so I rushed her to our vet and she was diagnosed with GI stasis and is staying there for a 24 hours. The vet thinks that it was due to stress. My other bunny biscuit had eaten his salad and hay so I didn’t think anything of it, but I was so upset and frantically getting peanut to the vet that I didn’t check up on him properly. He is acting weird at the moment: he isn’t leaving his pen and is just staying in one spot but he is eating normally and pooped throughout the night. Do you think he is just unwell because of the injection? Or he misses peanut (he is obsessed with her and spends all his time following her around). He is usually just more energetic than this. Should I take him to the vet or is this just a behaviour thing?

He probably misses Peanut but it’s highly likely it’s the injection as well. I’ve advised many bunny owners, and helped at vets. I’ve seen people bring bunnies in seizures after vaccines, or suddenly stopping eating.
I don’t have RHD or RHD2 bear me so I do not vaccinate because of this.

You were right- he just misses her. He shortly started running around trying to look for her and continued eating and drinking throughout the day! Thank goodness
