I may introduce them in the bathtub first. I was thinking just this room he’s in but then that is his out of cage time. He is very very mellow, so I’m hoping it goes well. Right now my cat is laying in the cage with him, in his bed area and he doesn’t care. He’s not scared of my cats, but he’s very friendly so I’m hoping it continues with another bunny, especially a smaller baby but I’m going to keep extra good eyes on them for their meetings until it seems safe.
The breeder said this baby is very very small. She said she has just been weaned so she hasn’t gotten to handle her as much as Stinker was when I first got him. He was already 12 weeks old when I got him. Other than my rabbit pair I had long time ago who had tiny babies once before they were fixed, I have not had such a tiny thing.
Mostly, I’m getting this one because I’m going to be moving in with my boyfriend and we will be traveling overseas and all around the country for his job. His sister is going to come take care of our animals and play with them and all that, but I think he will like having a little companion around too. I hope. **Fingers crossed**
Oh ..and also this same breeder thought Stinker was a girl too..so hopefully it’s another boy. I heard somewhere, maybe here, that they get along the best.
