I know this has probably been asked a million times before, but the search option does not work so my question is, how can you tell if your bunny has gas? My little girl has a tight tummy/abdomen area but she always seems to be pretty tight there. She is eating/pooping/drinking like normal. Just wondring how you know if they have gas issues. TIA!

Usually if they have gas they show signs of discomfort – so they might be pushing their belly to the ground as flat as possible or they could be hunched up. They might even be constantly getting up, turning around, laying down then getting up again. Basically they struggle to find a comfortable position.

Lethargy is a big sign too.

I agree with Sarah. The bunny shows some discomfort. Plus it can refuse food that it normally eats eagerly.

Well, I guess she is ok. Doesn’t seem to be doing any of the above. But to treat gas, we need to get unflavored baby gas drops, right?

Unflavoured is preferable but it’s not crucial. In the UK we use Infacol which is orange flavoured
