This should be another name for rabbits! Especially mine! Not only do I have health problems with them frequently, but sometimes, like now, two at a time are causing me stress!
Right now, I’m having the problems with Bindi’s sore hocks, am doing everything I can, but they seem to be getting worse not better. Also, last night I noticed his little bum seems to have a little bump where his scent gland is so I will have to attempt to clean that tonight (I know, I should have done it before now, but my bunnies scare me when they are upset!!!!)
As well, for the past week, Stormy’s eyes have gotten increasingly red around the front corner of both eyes. I started applying some ointment that the vet had given me a while back for Bindi when his eyes were red but it doesn’t seem to be helping so I stopped it. They’re not really runny, just red. If not better by Monday, then I will have to think about bringing him to the vet! I was just there with Bindi last week!! $$$$$$
It gets really frustrating when it seems like there is always something of concern with their health, despite how extremely well taken care of and spoiled they are. They are just lucky they are so darn cute and lovable!
