Okay so I couldn’t find the answer to my problem anywhere in this forum and I decided to ask here!

My rabbit suddenly has some kind of weird textured fur next to her whiskers. She is acting normal, eating, playing and such.

It worries me that her skin might be injured even though it doesn’t seem like it.

Could it be her fur is shedding too much or is it oily?

She has been shedding her fur (there were few strands in her poop so i gave her a few drops of paraffin oil into her food and she seems to be eating it so that might be the cause of the texture) but also shredding a cardboard box so has she maybe scratched or somehow pulled her fur out?

We’re gonna get her spayed/neutered soon since she has around 6-7 months and the vet told us so.

I am worried about my bunbun since she’s been protective around certain spots of the house like the edge of a bed and her cage but most worried about her whiskers.

She also has some kind of dirt on her nose that I can’t seem to get off…

Do you maybe know what could’ve caused it?

        Thanks!

I would guess it’s the parafin oil that caused a residue on her fur. I’ve never heard of using that during a shed before. Where did you get that info, just curious?

She’s a cutie. I love white bunnies. I have two.
