Generally reducing spore exposure and reducing day to day stressors (any stress will weaken a rabbits immune system) is best.
If you are using topical treatments, making sure you are covering the entire affected area and giving it time to set in before it’s groomed off is important.
Clean as much of the environment as you can, but also remember that fungal spores can live forever on virtually every surface, so reducing is more realistic than complete elimination.
Keep being persistent. It’s not uncommon for fungal infections to reoccur because they’re so hard to eliminate at the source, so clean as much as you can and be diligent with treatment.
Wick’s had ringworm (fungal infection) since November, then got it again in December and is finally almost done with it. Wick is very susceptible.
