I currently feed my rabbit her pellets in one of those cat ball feeders for fat cats. She has to roll it around or toss it to get the pellets out so I think it’s more stimulation than eating out of a bowl

Are there other ways of feeding pellets that are fun for the rabbit or make them work for their food? I think mine is becoming bored of the ball. thanks!

I frequently feed my rabbits their pellets by hand. I’ll alternate holding the pellets up so they have to periscope for them, and holding them closer to the ground. Also, I have a 4×6 natural fiber rug outside their condo, and sometimes I’ll scatter some of their pellets over the rug, to try to simulate a kind of natural foraging experience.

Mine have one of those treat balls, but they just push it around in circles until all of the pellets spill out. Sadly, it isn’t very challenging for them. LOL

I use paper lunch bags and stuff them with hay, pellets, toys, balled up newspaper.
