  Totally unrelated to buns, but I had to share we had 4 day old kittens come in to my work on Sunday from the SPCA. Their mother was a feral cat and had rejected them. One of our vets had been taking care of them, but she couldnt keep doing it because she has two young daughters. The SPCA couldn’t find any foster parents to take them though because we have a huge Parvo outbreak locally. Anyway they were going to euthanize them, so I took them because I couldn’t bear for them to be put down

  They will be a whole lot of work, considering they need to be nursed every 4 hours, but its worth it. Thank god I have a job that allows me to nurse kittens in the middle of my shift! haha and who needs a social life for the next 4 weeks

  I’m so glad you’re able to save them from being euthanized. I can’t wait to see more pictures as they grow.

  Bless your heart for saving them! What a terrible sadness that gives me that little kittens are euthanized just because there is no place for them.
  
  Also looking forward to kitten pics!!!

  They aren’t out of the woods yet they didn’t get the colostrum so they are succeptable to everything. Hopefully everything works out though. I’ll try to post pictures in the next couple of days

  so I thought I would just share a little update:
  
  so after much bloody diarrhea, constipation, antibiotics, and conjunctivitis everyone is doing fine Their eyes are all open and they are starting to get pretty active, although they aren’t strong enough to hold their own weight up. They are almost two weeks old now and weigh about .8 pounds haha

  I’m so glad they are getting better and stronger. Just think without you they wouldn’t even have had the chance to make it.

  well I tried to introduce them… Tait came running over so i put one down on the ground and he sniffed and when it meowed he jumped and looked at me like “WTF IS THAT!”. Now he just ignores them or gives me the stink eye when they are really loud
