Hi, I’m new!  I’ll use the template provided to give you some info about my buns and I . . .

        Rabbit Info:
        1.     Rabbit names:  Currently have Rosie and Alex.  Previous buns are Tucker, Cali and Thumper Amelia.
        2.     Rabbit Age:  Not sure, they’re rescues.  Rosie might be around 9 and Alex might be around 3.
        3.     How long has your bunny been with you? Rosie – 6 years, Alex – 1.5 years
        4.     Spayed/Neutered?  Of course
        5.     Rabbit Personality Traits (Calm, Diva, Naughty, Feisty, Sweet etc)   Rosie is the smartest rabbit I have ever known.  She still continues to surprise me with how freakin’ smart she is.  She’s also very affectionate.  She loves pets and gives me a half binky whenever I come into a room.  She takes a while to warm up to strangers though.  Alex . . . isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed.  He’s also a bit uncoordinated and, well, a bit odd.  I think his rough early life might have affected his development.  I’m soooooo glad he’s mine, though.  I found the huge sweetie pie hiding under the fearful uber-aggressive exterior he first presented with.
We’d also love to know more about you, (but it’s okay if you’d rather just stick to info about your bunnies).
        1.     Are you new to rabbits or have you been a bunny slave for a long while now?  I got my first house rabbit in 1997 (Thumper Amelia).
        2.     What made you choose to have a rabbit companion in your life? I had just gone through a bad break-up, and my bf had just moved out, taking his cat.  I wanted what I thought was a low maintenance pet, ha!  Little did I know . . .

Anything else that you’d like to share – hobbies, interests, talents. I used to ride horses until a bad accident a couple of years ago.  Horses and rabbits are very similar in terms of personality and health problems.  I also read a lot and am often sitting on the floor with my nook in one hand, petting a bun with the other hand.

I have the HARDEST time getting photos!  The buns always come over to me when they see me.  My Rosie is having unusual/complicated health issues, and my vet wanted me to videotape her . . . and all the videos were of her crawling over me or running to me.  I have a couple of bad pics of them.  I’ll try to get some better, new ones.

Here’s a description for now:  Rosie is very unusual-looking.  She’s a harlequin dutch, so she has the dutch pattern, but where the gray or black usually is, she’s harlequin with a mix of black and brown.  She has one black ear and one white ear.  She was found as a stray on the side of the road.  Alex is a big brown rex.  He spent the first year of his life in a cage that was too small (not mine!), and I think it stunted his growth – his back legs look oddly short, but other than that he’s a typical rex who is constantly watching his weight!

Your Rosie sounds a bit like my bunny, who’s also very affectionate. Often she does a half binky when I touch her, or when my husband enters the room. It’s so sweet. I also know what you mean about getting pictures. Whenever Hodari hears me turn the camera on she comes running up to sniff it! I usually catch her in repose after a bout of binkying, or while she’s eating.   Anyway, your bunnies sound adorable. Good luck getting some pics of them. Rosie must be really cute with one black ear and the other white.
