  Just picked up my new bun and brought her home and it is taking every ounce of me not to scoop her up and snuggle. She’s very cautiously peeking out of the carrier currently. Can’t wait for her to get used to her surroundings and then eventually me! She’s. 1.5 year old black and white lionhead mix. She looks pretty pure lionhead to me but thats what her previous owner said! She was free roam at her old house and I’m hoping to keep her free roam in my room. Her name is currently Oreo but Im thinking about changing it… unless you guys think that would be mean? I really have missed having a bunny so much I’m super excited if you couldn’t tell

  Congratulations on your new bunny! I have changed the names of some of the rabbits I’ve adopted over the years. I usually choose a new name that has some of the sounds of the old name, just in case they were used to their name and that made it easier for them.

  It depends if the rabbit responds to the original name.
