Hey everyone!
I was out of town for a few days and when I got home tonight, I saw a few chunks of fur on the floor of the room where my rabbit free roams. The fur also had a fine, dusty material at the base of it. My rabbit is eating, drinking, pooping, and acting completely fine. He is itching his ears and back a bit, but not excessively. I am wondering if this could just be some build up on his fur since he is a lionhead and has a very thick coat, or if it is something that I should be concerned about. Does it look like it may be fly strike? I was worried about that at first, but it doesn’t look like there are any eggs present. I have attached photos of the fur that I found as well as the dusty material that was in the fur. Thanks in advance!
