Anybody else get a mini heart attack when their buns flop?

I’m kinda used to it now, haha.

I just carefully look for the rising and falling from their breathing before I get worried, so I don’t have to check on them and disturb them.

          Beautiful bunny by the way!

Aww that’s sweet! Funny how they act differently with males, Bea seems to love male attention lol

Harley is the opposite! He is a total ladies man. He doesn’t give my husband any where NEAR as much attention as me
He will gladly accept pets from my husband but when he comes looking for pets I’m his first stop!

I don’t think Sally (the lop) really “loves” either of us lol I think she just uses us for food and shelter. She likes her pets too but only on her time and it’s more of a treat to keep her petty hoomans at her demand :p She is definitely the queen bee around here haha!

Anyhoo, here is a cute pic of Harley who flopped and slept when I first got him He has the same split face your bun has!

Wait, you have your bun trained to flop on command with treats?!

I’ve had my bun for almost two years and I get so excited to see them flop. My heart just melts knowing they are comfortable around me.

Sweets is the big flopper yet I just realized I have less photos of her flopping. Sounds like a new goal

When I come back from work Buddy usually sits up in his cage waiting for me to let him out, but one day last week I walked into the living room and he was laying down, pretty much in the same position as Harley in that adorable photo, and I thought something was wrong with him, I opened the cage and he just woke up. I thought I was gonna faint He does flop a lot though, usually like this:

Oh, my….a large amount of cute in this thread!!!! Bindi was flopped yesterday and looked so adorable but his eyes were half open and it was freaking me out, so I had to wake him up. Sometimes they just look too peaceful when they are conked out like that. Super cute, though.

Powder used to dead bunny flop on his side and you can’t see him breathing much when he’s asleep, super cute but hard to tell he’s just sleeping! Except you’d hear him flop out if you were in the room with a big *thud* noise. Since we got Stickers he doesn’t flop anymore, last time he did she binkied on his stomach. o.O
