Tomorrow I get to pick up my new bun! I can’t wait, she’s so beautiful. I have her cage all set up and ready.

Congrats! Where our you getting her from? How old is she? I’m excited for you lol. I really want a flemish , but I’ll prob never get one. If I ever do get another bun ( which I doubt I will), I’ll prob get a loop.

i got her from a small farm. the lady’s husband had bought and bred two for meat. once the wife saw them she told him there was nooo way they could do that, and he said if she could get rid of them all then he wouldn’t. so i got her! she’s 6 weeks tomorrow, and she’s all white with blue eyes.

and ive heard that they’re usually deaf too. but i dont think she is. her ears flick to noises and she looks up at me when i clap my hands from a distance. i just tried it, lol. she kept stopping her cleaning and looking up at me like, “what’re ya doin’?”.

i dont know what im going to name her yet. my boyfriend wanted something either that has to do with pure or white, in other languages/cultures.
any ideas? i cant seem to find anything that fits.

if it helps, she seems really reserved but friendly, and is definitely a chewer.

Congratulations! She’s really beautiful. We will require weekly pictures to watch her grow, ok? White with blue eyes…yes, you need a name to fit her. I like your idea so far – White or Pure meanings.  One possibility is “Chiaro” pronounced Key-ah-roh I think. It’s Italian for Pure,  also bight, clear, light, vivid and various other words. I think it’s pretty feminine sounding too.

some white cats with blue eyes are deaf, and i know one. she is always scared by me, when i closed in and touched her while she was sleeping. but it’s the first time i heard about bun.

Aww, thanks for the ideas so far, I looooove Chiaro and Belle is so nice too, but I don’t think the boyfriend likes it.
He’s being really picky about her name, it’s cute because he’s never really been interested in my first bun, Mumbles.

Just some new pictures, I took them maybe 30 minutes ago. I had more but my phone died before I could send them and I’m too lazy to go out to the car to get the charger.

you can actually see her eye color in this one, its kind of a gray-blue.

She’s so big! Only 7 weeks old, Mumbles is 5 months, and they’re the same size. Mumbles is a little more filled out just because she’s older, but it’s weird to think they’re not the same age.
