        Hiya, I’ve

e got a 2 year old mini lop. Only adopted him about 2 weeks ago (with a clean bill of health from the vet!). So far we’ve discovered he’s a wrecking machine, but otherwise wonderful.

The thing is, we live in a second floor flat, and although he has free range of it, I’d love to take him down to the courtyard to get some fresh air and sunshine. I’ve read other posts on here advising against harnesses, but he’s not fond of being picked up so I probably wouldn’t be able to get him down to a pen.

Would it be a good idea at all? Or do you have any suggestions?

          Welcome to BB!

I would suggest putting him in a carrier to transport him to and from the courtyard where you could supervise him in an x-pen. I don’t think harnesses are ever a good idea because of the risk of broken limbs/back/neck/death.

I also agree with the others. Harnesses are just too risky to be worth it. Any little spook and your bunny could be seriously injured.
