Should I be concerned that my spayed 2yr bunny girl has all of a sudden started humping her blankets?

How long ago was she spayed?
Are there any other bunnies around?
Have you been around other bunnies while you were out?
          Has anything else changed?

I wouldn’t be concerned…But furface has a really good point. Any other bunnies around-or have you been visiting any bunnies and bringing home smell?

Is she doing it alot? Has anything changed in her routine or environment lately? Some rabbits can hump their mates when stressed so I was thinking maybe that could be true also for humping their stuff. Also, some rabbits might do this as a “displacement behaviour” because of some other frustration or discomfort. Like when Binky Bunny was bonding Jack and Vivian, Jack was obsessively humpy. It seemed it was part his personality but also because it was spring and then it turned out he had a bladder stone. It was specualated that the discomfort from that could have contributed to his humpy behaviour too.
Discomfort could come from many things….infection, blocked scent glands, fleas or mites…

Anyway, it might not be a big deal  – depends if she’s doing it obssessively.

She’s been fixed for over a year. I have a male bunny but he was here when she got here a year ago. They are not bonded but they are in the same room together. I have not been around any bunnies. She’s not doing it a lot only seems to do it when her blankets are bunched up then she will do it. I just thought it odd bc I had never seen her do it before.
