Today I let Oliver out of his cage to run free in the living room for the first time! I’m still new to bunnies and how they behave so I’m not sure how to read his body language but if I had to guess I think he really had a lot of fun! He ran around and slowly explored more and more of the room a little at a time. He’d stop every now and again to groom himself or to lay down and rest a bit. I also saw him jump into the air a few times, but he didn’t spin around, was that a binky? Also he didn’t chew any wires, didn’t poop or pee on the floor, and he got really close to me and even let me pet him a couple times!

Sounds like he had a great time!! Just keep a close eye on him as he explores – you never know what catches their eye that they shouldn ‘t chew .
          Mostly, just enjoy!!!!

Sounds like he had fun! Any spontaneous leap in the air is considered a Binky and is a sign of happiness. There is no greater joy to me than a binky!

I let him out today and last night and he also binkied some more! Also when he was outside his cage we put a litter box inside it and since then he’s only been doing his business in the litter box! Litter trained in one night! He’s a smart bunny!
