Hello! I have adopted my first bunny about 2 months ago, she is a Holland Lop named Frida. I’ve recently noticed that when she is relaxing in her cage, i can can hear her breath loudly and heavily through her nose. Her nose is kinda runny and shes has been sneezing. Yet her other habits are perfectly normal; shes been active, eating and drinking a lot and has been going to the bathroom regularly. And when she is alter she is perfectly quite. Im confused and concern because when i look up her symptoms, i either get that shes need to go to the vet ASAP or that shes fine and that it is normal for Holland lops due to their face shapes. Its very frustrating and would really appreciate personal feedback and advice. Thank you!

PS. The Petsmart near my house said they do take rabbits for check ups, but are they know to be reliable ?

          Welcome : )

or that shes fine and that it is normal for Holland lops due to their face shapes.

It’s not normal, just common for holland lops to get issues. But it’s still a health issue.

So this stops when she’s out of the cage?
Do you have bedding in the cage? Wood shavings or chips?

She probably has a minor URI. If you can get to the vet, some antibiotics should clear it up. I would not go to the petsmart vet.
              Welcome to BB!

Yes, it’s worth getting her checked out.

I would try taking out the bedding also. They really only need some litter in a box. Bedding isn’t necessary.
Is the hay dusty at all? Bagged hay can get dusty sometimes.
