        Hi!

I’m trying to bond my rabbits.

        They’ve met 3 times.

        Fight, fight and fight.

At first they acted OK, the one rabbit groomed the other one.

They met in a neutral room.

But then they had a BIG fight, and we separated them.

The next meeting was in the bathtub. They acted OK. They “fought” a littlebit, but it was nothing serious.

The third meeting was in a neutral room. Immediately after they noticed eachother, they attacked eachother.

I think they remember that they have been fighting before..

        What to do?

The last “date” lasted about 2 minutes because they wanted to kill eachother..

          Have they already been spayed/neutered?

Hi, and welcome to the forum.
Have you read the bonding info under the green banner above under “bunny info”?

At the stage in your bonding that you are at, carrides will help tremendously to get them familiar; the strange environment of the car will prevent any fighting. Use a basket or box to confine them together on the rides.

*I’m assuming they are both altered, are they?

Fighting initially is very normal. It take take a long time and quite a few sessions to get them to the point where they don’t scuffle. I agree that some kind of stressing technique will be helpful at this point.
