Sounds like a perfectly happy, content, relaxed, curious, little bunny 🙂 My bunnies think like this… wake up, et, drink, pee, poop, play, relax, play, relax, play, relax, sleep from 10am-6pm, eat, drink, pee, poop, play, relax, furious play with bouts of relax, nap, then wake up and start the routine all over. I leave them alone between 10am and 6pm. Durikng their sleep time, they want to be left alone. They get grumpy and hide if I try to disturb them. Their play time, morning and evening and throughout the night, is the best time to bond and cuddle. As you research and read more, you’ll find ideas for entertainment for your bunny. Digging and chewing are their top 2 past-times. Give yoru bunny safe chew toys, and digging options. This could be natural tree branches to chew, my bins prefer these to store-bought chew toys. For digging, I give them an enclosed cat litter box with play sand. I shred newspaper into inch strips and put it doen in the sleepy area. My buns hav eall liked to dig out a hollow spot to sleep in. In nature, thye woudl dig out a hollow spot, lay their bellies in the unearthed dirt, and keep cool as they sleep. When I put the shredded newspaper in their sleepy spots, they nibble, scratch and rearrange it, and that satisfies the digging need. That is helpful when you like your carpet intact…
Congrats on your new love 🙂
