I have to admit handling Moshu is tough and consumes much of my time…I was working on my laptop and had left her to roam on the bed (its a double bed) and she was very, very affectionate towards me and would run to be petted after a gap of every 3 minutes..During this, she tried to climb my table from the bed and fell down, on her back… I immediately lifted her up and petted up..she seemed to be slow for a while..she even did not have as much food as she does..(I had to run after her with the basils in my hand, though its something she gobbles generally. Though she ate melon as a treat with relish. I left her free to run just to see if there is a change in her way of walking or running, it all seemed fine after a while. She has not pooped yet..
She fell from a height of about 24 inches..on her back.. is that too high for a rabbit ? I’m really anxious. I will go to a vet tomorrow. This happened a few hours from now and its already night here. I want to know if it is potentially dangerous. Please help.
What I am first and foremostly meaning to know is that does it take time for a sprain to completely show itself..and since she ran and walked as usual, can we completely rule out the possibility of a broken bone, isnt it ?
