So along with Onyx’s sneezing, which has gotten tons better. I haven’t heard one sneeze since i pulled those things out of his nose. And his eyes look lots better.

But i checked his feet today. He has had bald spots on them ever since i got him, most likely, and they haven’t looked weird or like they were hurting him so i didn’t worry about it much. I just would keep an eye on them, in case they got worse. Well i just checked his feet, its his back feet only, and they looked weird.

Ill try to get pictures, i’m bad at describing them. The spots on one foot are flaky, the other foots spot was flaky but the flake fell off while i was moving the hair out of the way. The foot with the flakes still on there seems to bother him the most.

What can i do to prevent these from getting worse? He wont be able to be seen by the vet for another week and a couple days. I have a grate on his litter box, could this be causing it? I know he is a mess down there, i’m trying to get my hands on a rabbit safe shampoo because warm water and a towel isn’t getting the job done. He has had about 10 butt baths and they do little to help.

Should i put some Neosporin on them even though they don’t seem to be open? I really don’t want them to become anything, so i need help asap. Thanks y’all.

I think you can also use bepanthen or sudocrem on hock sores. Both are designed to soothe sore skin.

It could be the grate in the tray but hard to know for sure. For now is be adding additional soft surfaces around his cage and pen. Apollo had some small bare patches starting a few months ago so I added memory foam mats under the fleece, a piece of vetbed and some other soft mats in their playpen.

Looks like it could be sore hocks or something like that.
That can come from buns being on hard surfaces too much, their feet aren’t really designed for that.

I would remove the grate and maybe add some towels/blankets/ or some kind of padding to his enclosure too like Azerane already mentioned. hope it gets better!!

Thanks so much for the suggestions, i’ll definitely look into getting some of those creams. I get so conflicted because he just sits in his litter box all the time, and so he sits in his pee and poop and is a mess all over his underside. I was hoping the grate would help with that  not harm him more. Ill definitely take the grate out then.
