What beautiful pix, Pam. Now I have a face to put the story with.
Wish my son and daughter got on that well.
This must be a heavy day for you. ((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))
Lintini, what a gorgeous collie! I had one when I was a teenager, we’d rescued him from a shelter where he’d been taken after being liberated from an abusive home. I think we had him about a month before he was stolen almost right out of our front yard while I was at school. (at least that was the story my dad gave me) I’d worked for weeks to get him to trust me, he wouldn’t go up or down stairs without throwing up he was so scared of being pushed down them. His name was Kacey. It broke my heart to lose him, we assume to the folks who’d hurt him enough for the shelter to take him. I don’t know how they got our address, but it was most likely they who abducted him. We never saw him again.
However a lot of my childhood pets would ‘disappear’ while I was at school. Usually my folks just got tired of having them around, I think.
All my family photos are packed away in boxes…the only pix I have on my computer are current ones from the last 5 years or so. But I’ll search through and see if there’s something worthwhile I can add to the thread.
