Looking for some help trying to figure out what is going on with one of our female bunnies. She has an irritated eye that seems to have a small bulge in the tear duct area. Anyone have any idea what it is? I am having a hard time finding a local vet that will see her.

To me it looks like her third eyelid is stuck. There could be something under the lid pushing against it causing it to be stuck, or maybe it’s inflamed because of sinus issues or infections. You might need to take her to a vet for this. Sometimes a tooth issue can also affect the eye.

I also suggest vet visit. Could be an infection or injury.

Thanks for the responses, cleaned it out a couple of time a day with pink eye spray and the eye is back to normal.
