The shelter emailed me today. Someone is interested in adopting Rhine!!!
I’m so happy for him and I just had to share.
They also told me that someone was brining back a pair of buns that they adopted 6 months ago. They family that adopted them had them free range and had trouble with them eating cords and didn’t want to even try to fix it. She wondered if we’d like to adopt them but said we could foster them first so we know for sure if we want a bonded pair. They are about 2, they are a borther/sister pair, and Flemish Giant / Holland Lop mixes.
From how she describes them they sound like Hugo but in 2 buns. She said as soon as she spoke with the family she immedately thought of me. Maybe this will be a good thing. I’m still healing and miss Hugo very much. I especially miss his laid back lazy yet spunky personality. I’ve been afraid to even consider adopting because I’m scared I might be disappointed with the new bun or buns. I enjoy fostering though. It’s been a good thing for me to have a bunny to care for and I just love watching them.
Well, I was excited and had to share!
