I read that on a few websites and forums that bunnies can have roses, so without thinking I went out and bought a bouquet for my rabbit’s birthday. After she ate 2 petals I took them away but had an afterthought that scared the dickens out of me. I don’t know what kind of pesticides could be on those roses. It’s the next day and she seems to be fine, full of energy and still being naughty. I for sure won’t give her anymore but should I take her to the vet? Or?? She seems absolutely fine, I know they hide their symptoms but I know my bunny. I feel as though she is ok. I don’t really know what to do, any advice?

Encourage her to drink and keep observing her. I’m thinking that if something was bound to happen it would have already but you can never be sure with buns.
Keep an eye on her eating/pooping/peeing and her posture, let us know how it’s going

Whenever my Buttercup has had a new food that didn’t agree with her it took 24 hours to show so if it’s been 24 hours she’s probably okay. That said, if you notice anything unusual take her straight to the vets.

I would never feed roses from a florist. I have fed rose petals from thehayexperts.co.uk and they were fine but my bunnies didn’t like them lol.

Thank you! She’s doing well now  I’m a new bunny owner so I’m not too sure what I’m doing but she’s very happy and has more energy than ever!
