Easter Bunny Flyers

I’m sure some of you already know about these flyers, but just thought I would make a thread for everyone to see and make it a little easier.

This site has many different Easter bunny flyers explaining why they don’t make good easter gifts. Please browse through them, print out a few and hand them out! 

Easter and Bunnies don’t mix

My bunny, Mimzy, was an easter gift to a 10yr old girl. She was kept in a 10 gallon fish tank because she “fit” and was neglected. Cockroaches soon found their home in her tank as well as maggots due to her “cage” rarely ever being cleaned. Very disturbing, I know. I’m so glad she is now in my custody. Please speak up for the voiceless!

This is a great idea. I’m pretty sure this is how we ended up with Foo, seeing as we found her as a stray two months after Easter. After reading some of the true horror stories of buns that have been abandoned, I am so glad we found her when we did. Maybe I’ll take a flyer worth me the next time I go to the one pet store near me. Lady things I was there they had the most adorable mini lips and Netherland dwarfs (wanted to take them with me so bad but I don’t think either Ryan or Foo would have been happy with that with zero notice). Anyway I talked to one of the employees and asked if they always have bunnies, and he said sometimes but they definitely have them around Easter because they sell better then. I told him Foo’s story and he just shrugged and said they were good for business. I.haven’t been back since but I keep wondering uhh the babies I met that day are okay.
