Hello! My little Cheerio has something in the bottom of her ear, and I’m not sure what it is! She was scratching at it and shaking her head for a couple of days so I took her to a vet and the vet said she had a small ear infection. She prescribed some antibiotics for Cheerio and we have just finished them. However, Cheerio still has some junk at the bottom of her ear. She isn’t scratching or shaking her head anymore, so that must be good, but I’m just worried! I really do think it is ear wax but you never know!

Yup, looks like ear wax to me but ear infections can also leave gunk in the ear. How long was she on antibiotics?

She was on the antibiotics for 7 days (twice a day)
