My bunny has 3 legs and so he sometimes has a hard time cleaning his ears. I was just wondering if there was something I could do at home to help him or if I should just bring him to the vet to do it. I dont want to do it if I could hurt him so Im fine with bringing him in to the vet if I have to.

I’d bring him to a rabbit experienced vet and ask for advice on proper grooming and such! Definitely a rabbit savvy one because the ears are so important and rabbit-specific.

I agree with Wick. Your vet may also give you an ear cleaning solution.

Thank you both so much. I’ll call about it tomorrow then.

Hey Jazlyn! My bunny has the same problem. She has a splay leg and she has a hard time cleaning her ear. She gets wax so I took her to the vet, they cleaned it out and gave me a solution to do at home. Every day for a week and then once a week for the rest of her life!
