All three of our buns know their names and will at the very least look around, though they also will come running if they want to. We didn’t try to teach them their names, we just use them all the time; when we feed them, pet them, or anytime. Does your rabbit know their name and if so did you purposely teach them it?

Vienna knows her name but sadly I’ve mostly used it when telling her off! ( I don’t shout at her, obviously, she’s just a very naughty bunny so I tell her Vienna, no while getting her out of the veggie patch, the hole she’s just dug, from behind the shed etc ) I do use it when I’m feeding and playing with her though. A game I like to play is when she’s out in the garden I call her name and her ears swivel round and listen to me!

My buns seem to know their name. Except for Harley I am always going, “HARLEY NO!” and he perks up and is like, “huh?”
Sally I call her name a lot just because I want her to come say hello and she usually does So I’m sure Sally KNOWS her name. And Harley might just associate his name as him misbehaving lol

Foo knows her name. We did try to teach her atfirst but then just talked to her. She’ll come running to say hi if we say Foo, come say hbye to me, and will come when called.

Java knows his name. He’ll look around, or at least at us, if we call it out.

He sometimes comes over if we call him, but I think that’s more just him being curious and interested in coming to us than actually responding to his name.

Fobey definatly knows her name. Although in agility training, I never use the name Fobey, I call her rabbit because she listens to it better.
                    Toby doesn’t know his… he’s deaf.

Bunjamin definitely knows his. When I’m telling him to stop something he responds to it and when I’m calling him to come over he responds. Tone makes a big difference but I’ve tested it and he knows the words too. Sweets will I’m sure. She just needs more time to get used to me.

One of my buns, Toshi, also knows his bondmate’s name and will look around if that is called, however he responds much better to his name then hers.

No, not really. Hannah knows when you are talking to her by the tone in your voice, but she doesn’t know her name specifically I don’t think. Otto is either partially deaf or just has “selective hearing”, but I could yell at him from 1 foot away and he would just stare at me. He is extremely non-reactive to sounds, but I know he can hear some things, like the shaking of the treat bag.

They both coming running when I tap on the floor though. That’s their recall cue.
