Tonight I came home to see that Ralphie had found one of my flip flops that was in my closet in a cubbie that he managed to get out. He then decided he was going to chew ONLY around the WHOLE outside of the flip flop. I looked at it and said to Ralphie, "Ohhh, Ralphie…were you naughty today?" I got a responce too….. Ralphie ran from the other side of the room to where I was kneeling down, right next to the chewed up flipflop. He took the flip flop and threw it at me then gave me kisses. How could you be mad at him after that?

Look how he’s turning his head away like it wasnt him. Haha.
          Nice customized shoe!
I have nibbles taken out the back of mine.

Rabbits are so good at getting into places you don’t want them to go. Rabbit-proofing is a challenge.

Ha ha – naughty bun. I have two naughty buns that have chewed through: countless telephone chords, speaker chords, head set chord, husband’s gaming mouse chord (3x), electric keyboard chord, lamp chords, base boards, drywall, ALL my wood furniture, carpet, computer bag, back of my couches, rugs, flip flops, and worst of all, my Ralph Lauren boots! I wonder if I’ve left anything off the list 😮

The only real problem we have had was the drywall. Man, it must really be tasty.

Last night I got up to go to the bathroom. I was on Skype voice chat with the boyfriend. I left the cord hanging and by the time I got back Mako had chewed it in two. This is officially a rite of passage in my house. I have had a kitten, a dog and now Mako do this. LOL Right now she keeps taking bristles off my broom. I should probably move it but I don't wanna get up yet… lol. Luckily she responds well to a clap and a sharp "no"! There are broom bristles all over the floor now though. Maybe she's telling me to finally get a new broom, lord knows I need one.

I have never had problems with Ralphie chewing on cords – thank God!!

Today I got home and went to go clean his cage…I couldn’t find him. So the searching began. Looked up stairs in his hutch, nope. Looked in the closet, nope. BEhind the mirror, on my fenced around bed, behind my door, behind and underneath my dresser, all no. So I’m thinking okay….there is one more place he’ll go. Underneath my parent’s bed. He discovered awhile ago that there are mine and my brother’s art work my mom had saved from elementary school under the bed and that he can chew on it. I looked there and there he was. I ended up going back into my room to clean his cage because i knew he wasn’t leaving that art work. I then went back into their room with his pellets (when I scoop them, he normally comes running – he didn’t). I went back into my room to finish the cleaning and I hear something in my door way, it is Ralphie…….squeezing himself through the baby gate I have at the door to prevent him from going under their bed.

                  They are so smart!

Mine do literally whatever is physically possible to get onto my bed – i’m not sure why though. Maybe it’s because they’re banned from it so they’re just mega curious?! Either way I’ve had one of my rabbits wake me up in the night with his head stuck through the bars of the x-pen fence trying to get onto it D: Fortunately they’ve grown too much to manage that now…

Annabel – my bun loves loves loves my bed. I think they like it because it’s probably the things that smells the most like their people you know? Also Rufus loves using the mattress and pillows as trampolines so that he can binky much higher. Hilarious.

So funny! Ralphie loves my bed as well, but due to him having accidents on my bed and that is the only place he will have an accident and I mean ONLY place. So only when he is a good boy he gets to go up there as a treat. But I am going to get him neutered and supposedly that should fix the problem and hopefully he can be allowed on my bed just like your bunny!

How timely this thread is….After mastering the Xpen escape and being thwarted at their attempts to pass the baby gate Pepper decided to take revenge by removing the plug from the water reservoir on the swamp cooler.. I had it pushed against the extra panels blocking the baby gate… It must have taken her hours to work the stopper out but she got there and I ended up with a swamp on the lounge room floor.
