Does my rabbit have megacolon

I have a 4-month rabbit with diet includes pellets, alfalfa hay, a little bit of bell pepper in the morning, and water. Today while cleaning I found some poops of his that are larger than normal with the egg-shape. I did my research and found out that either ingestion of medication or megacolon can make poops larger.

I just recently started to feed him half of papaya enzyme pill from Oxbow every morning for his digestion. Is that why his poops are larger? Or is he having megacolon?

P/s: I’ve had him for 4 months and he already had 2 very minor bloating, which went away very fast when I massaged his tummy.

I highly doubt he has megacolon – from what I’ve read a true megacolon bunny is quite rare – but it could be a stomach upset. My rabbit had egg-shaped poos for a while, and they were larger than normal, I freaked and read up and found out about megacolon too lol

but I found out it was because he was on antibiotics at the time. It lasted for a while even after he came off antibiotics. His poos are now normal.

Is he eating enough hay? If you’re worried, and the odd shape poos persist, take him to your best rabbit vet.
