Does Anyone Else Edit Pictures?

I personally use Picnik to edit my pictures and they always turn out amazing.  I do alot of my friends but i’ll have to get their permission before posting them on here. i have them all on facebook though. Hershey is always a target of a photoshoot. She poses so perfectly and does what she’s asked to. Durin this shoot, she was shedding alot so most didn’t look so great.

If you edit pictures what site  do you use?

I take a bunch of pictures of one object from different positions and angles, choose my favorite then edit it.

I actually use Kodak software, which doesn’t sound very impressive, but I’ve loved using it for years.

I use it mostly for sunsets –

Mir, are you the blonde? I saw that avatar on facebook and for some reason thought you were the brunette.

Anyway, must get to work asap, so can’t post pix, but I use Photoshop for the basic edits of all pix. I’ve been uploading to Photobucket to get them posted here, but I’m finding (im not alone either) that the past several months they’ve slowed way down. Can you upload from Picnik if you don’t do any edits, just want to load ones that were edited in Photoshop?
By the way, for those who need to resize smaller to load to this site, Paint.com is the best. (Help – is it Paint.net?)

You cant upload straight from picnik i dont think, i upload the pics on this site from my pictures folder on my computer.. in the attachments part of a post….?
And Yup i’m the blonde i the pics, my natural colour is a light brownish, and i tried to colour it darker and it somehow turned out blonde because the box was wrong. Then i tried colouring it back to my original or at least close so my roots wouldn’t show so much, and it went red!! -.- i have the worst expirences with colouring my hair.So now i’ve got a mix of brown / blonde / red in my hair from fading and such.. its not so bad.

Lizzy Knitty bun thoses are AMAZING pictures!!! you should make them like postcards!!! A lady my mom works with does that, takes nature pics, prints them out and sells them.

100% fact. $6 – $12 per pic, for the small post card sized ones. My mom says she makes alot of money off of them. Then again. She works in a hospital..

I wonder if I’d have to buy special photo paper, instead of regular photo paper, so people could write things on the back.

 I use PaintShop Pro. My dad is really into photography and loves the program (he uses it for other graphics work besides photos, but it does have some good photo editing features). He buys all of the latest editions and sends me the old ones for free! Haha. It doesn’t have the cooler trendier edits, but it does have basic photo fixing, contrast, lighten, darken, etc. They have added a lot more photo-specific features in the recent releases. Most pictures I don’t do anything too crazy with, but here’s my favorite that I actually changed a bit from the original colors.

This is from the Bahamas two years ago. My husband is in the middle and the other guys are two of our friends. I love this picture, partially for how cool it is, and partially for how long it took to get the shot  We have it hanging in our bathroom.

Yeah, I think I crouched on that dock for half an hour while the boys ran and jumped off the end and tried to sync their jump. At least the scenery was pretty and the weather was nice! The dock is on an uninhabited island and the water below it is perfectly clear and about 10ft deep. Perfect for diving and jumping.

We’re going back to the Bahamas in November with those two guys (and some other people). Hopefully we can take a trip to the island with this dock again and maybe do a repeat of this shot with more people in it.

Elrohwen i ADORE that picture, those are so hard to take!!. My grandma got a picture of me and 4 out of the 6 other grandkids jumping off the docks in Rosseau Ontario. That was the last beach trip she got to go on and nobody can find the pictures that she took. But thats similar to what the picture looked like except with 5 people and it was Oldest – Youngest, of course the oldest ones could jump higher so it looked pretty neat. i know what you mean though. it took us what seemed like FOREVER to takethe picture, but she wanted it so we eventually got it
