  I only want what is best for Rosie, but since she is so young still (4/5 months) I don’t fully trust her outside her cage to free roam. Plus she isn’t bonded with either myself or my husband can gets scared when we try to pick her up when she gets into things when we do let her free roam.
  
  So she has her big cage with her food, water, litter box and we attached a fenced in area around the front in the living room so she has the choice to come and go and explore her area whenever we are home (We close up her cage when we aren’t home!)
  
  My question is, do you think this is enough room for her right now?

  I am hoping to move up to free roam when she’s a bit older, litter trained better and we can bunny proof a bit better.

  Yep its a nice set up. Kilala lived in a similar set up for a few months before she got her own room and before being bonded to Usagi.

  That looks like a great amount of space and a really nice setup! Does she end up closed up in her cage for long periods of time? That would be my only concern!

  She is only in her actual cage when we are sleeping or not home. When my daughter is in bed she gets some time to free roam around the living room under supervision but otherwise she can come and go as much as she wants in that enclosed area when we are home. I plan to get her a harness eventually so we can go for walks. She’s very curious and it looks like she would respond well to it.

  Sounds like she has a lot of love! Please take some time to do a lot of research on rabbits and harnesses. Rabbits don’t like and aren’t made for “walks” and harnesses are very dangerous. She could get spooked and end up choking herself; there are a lot of horror stories out there. There are so many scary noises and animals out there too.
