Do YOU See the Bunny? *again*

Okay, I know I’m a hopeless rock hound (remember the rock my son brought me recently that had all sorts of weird slashes in it that made the shape of a rabbit?) and space geek (saw this image, and others like it, while perusing the Hubble Site today as the shuttle Atlantis is currently servicing the giant telescope for the last time) but as this flashed by on my screen, I get the distinct sense that the Great Rabbit of the Cosmos is speaking to me. ^_^

How about you? Do you see the rabbit? (sorry, I’d upload the pix, but not only would that be copyright infringement, but they are way too big to post here)

I didn’t see it in the first picture. But as soon as I saw the 2nd one I totally saw it! Now I can see it in the first one .

the first pic looks like a very disapproving lop to me- and the 2nd picture looks like the classic “chocolate bunny” pose (standing up).  So I think that I see bunnies!

I can see TWO bunnies in the first picture! The first is the silhouette of the rabbit. The second is a rabbit laying down in a loaf in the center red part. You can only see the head and dewlap and the bunny is at an angle. The eye is directly above the biggest white spot in the red section.

I can see a second sort of Peepi but it looks more like a Hamster to me. Is it perpendicular to the rabbit?

Ooo! Correction! It’s an uppy ear in the second pic! Well it can be whatever you want it to be I guess.

I was going to say, jersey, it is definitely NOT a lop. We uppy eared bunny lovers know that you get to a higher cosmic plane via uppy eared bunnies. (why do you think they called antennas rabbit ears?)

It took me two tries to see it. But it’s clear in the second when I focus on the red. I first saw what looked like a fur coat completely wrapped in a circle around space. The brown edges are so much like fur. If anyone saw Lolcats today, there’s a pumpkin pie that does the same thing.

in the first one i actually saw a profile bun who was rotated so it’s belly was upwards… the ears are the shape of your buns ear to the left side of the pic, it’s nose is pointing up and there’s a nice dewlap. but i like yours better!

I saw it them as Markus drew them (lop in 1st, uppy in 2nd) and then saw uppy ear in the 1st pic afterwards.  I saw it like Rachel, as if it is giving itself a face wash.
As for the hamster…it’s still there – sort of embryonic looking.  I’ll try outline it but I’m crap with that stuff.

After looking at this thread again late last night, when I went to close down the pc, 2 bunnies appeared to me.
My wallpaper display had changed without my knowledge.  It displayed this but was full screen and pixelated.

   What the? I thought the Great Cosmic Bunny was

sending me a sign!   j/k.  I worked out I’d accidently done it when trying to remove a background on a page I was reading

because it was diifficult the see the text. I must have saved it as a wallpaper by mistake.

Interesting how everyone sees different things.

Hamster (maybe). Outline looked bogus so I’ll just put in some orientation arrows. Just tilt head to the right.

I also see…

Rectangles: Elephants

Large circle: Wizard, side profile

Small circle: Old crone face (longish) or a Spaniel pup…(hard to see sometimes!)

Actually, Markus’ second outline was exactly the rabbit I saw. I guess I should’ve stenciled it in myself, but it’s much more fun to watch y’all go bonkers trying to see what I saw. ^_^

Jerz, I see the two elephants (I love elephants, btw) but I can’t see the wiz or the crone…which way are they facing? *squints*

Wizard is on a diagonal. Very thin. So imagine his pointy hat at 10 o’clock and upper body between 4 & 5 o’clock then face more in the centre.

Tilt head left for crone/pup. If I drew a line that dissected the face it would run from 11 o’c to 4-5 o’c so the chin is in the 4-5 zone.

Darkish spot near centre can be snout-like nose or puppy nose.

Oh dear, what a cute cat! xD My dad’s cat was called Punkins. (he was an abyssinian, though, not a tabby) but this one reminds me of my first cat, Peanuts.

Well I laughed even though the reference went straight over my head! You’ll have to give me the heads up.
