Good websites for looking for a new bun! gah! its like north florida dosent beleive in owning buns! Im going bananas! I know of petfinder and sometimes craigslist (where I found the ad for Basil) but are thare any other sites to find buns in NORTH florida? more on the upper west coast? Any help would be great!

I like petfinder but they are all older buns, mid age there are some young ones but their adoption fees are horrid! why is that?

I CANT go through losing another bun to old age so quikly again I would realy like to find a very young bun to get him/her use to our bizzy enviroment and be  realy use to being held and handled, does that make sence? Im not trying to rush and get just any bun I want it the be the right bun.

Im kinda bummed to think I wont find a bun soon or having to wait allll the way to a month or so after easter!  I hate that by the way! bunnies for easter then they get dumped! GRR! Sorry for a little venting there

Why don’t you contact the House Rabbit Society? They have a chapter in Miami which is not close to where you are but they may even have transport available or even a fosterer closer to you. Or, try the one in Georgia. HRS should have a rabbit for you.

Gainsville Rabbit Rescue might have some suggestions. Remember they do sometimes organise transport or foster rabbits in different areas.
Some major pet stores now do adoptions of rescue rabbits.

I think a lot of places are listed on Bunspace so that might be worth a look.

We have a member who used to live near Penascola and she found it hard when looking to adopt her 2nd. I think she adverstised that she was looking.

I imagine those adoption fee’s include vetting and spay and neuter so don’t be put off by the adoption fee’s. They are most likely more reasonable than paying for the alter yourself.

No I havent seen him… I think? lol do you have a link for him? and dont apologize it is exciting looking  for another bun! But I’m running out of options! GRR! I think I will be makeing a trip to “visit relatives” and see about available buns there! hehehe

 

Petzy do you have a link for the georgia HRS? I cant seem to find it.
