  I’m sort of a hockey fan, but I don’t really follow the NHL because I can’t stand to watch hockey on tv. In college we went to every game though, and our team was fairly good (especially for a smaller school). One of the guys in the same year of college as me is on the Islanders now and I heard on the radio that he scored a hat trick. I was so excited because I didn’t even realize he went pro after college, despite him being one of my favorite players on the team.
  
  I’m nominally a fan of the Penguins as I’m from that area, so I’ll root for them when they’re in the playoffs. From your avatar I’m guessing you’re a fan of them too!

  YES! You probably won’t like hearing me say this but I’m a huge Caps fan! I promise I’ll be nice since you’re a fellow bun-lover So yes, I’m definitely hyped up for the playoffs

  Haha, excellent! Yeah, I’m a pens fan, but only as of late! I started watching ice hockey because sleeping isn’t really going so well with my back issues. This is my first playoff season!

  Yeah my bf turned me into a Caps fan. I always liked hockey but never really supported any one team until he got me hooked on the Caps. Hockey is a great distractor though, I love that the game moves so fast, keeps me from getting bored with watching haha

  Agreed! I have also gotten my man into following the Penguins too, even though he’s from south carolina, lol! I’m planning on making a trip to pittsburg in January to watch a regular season game!

  Yay Pittsburgh! Wave to my hometown for me. I’ve actually never been to a Pens game – they’re expensive and I always talk myself out of going. Let me know if you need any tips for visiting the city.

  Aww, that’s very sweet thank you. Yes, I’ve seen the price of tickets, so in total my trip to see one game may end up costing up to $1000. Including my flights, lol! I don’t do things by half!
  
  Lani, did you watch the caps game on Wednesday? I didn’t get to see it, but I heard it was great. The penguins game was amazing! I’m really looking forward to tonights game!
