This isn’t a problem for me. I just thought I start a thread to share stories.
Ethel has claimed ownership of most of the house! I have started to notice what a little Diva she has become. Don’t get me wrong, she is still very friendly; gives loads of licks, easy to pick up (and tooth purrs when I cuddle her on my shoulder), runs to see me when I come home….but this little miss does have an attitude!
Her most recent diva developments are:
- She has taken over my bedroom – spending most days snoozing by the side of my bed. I came home yesterday and turned on my bedroom light which woke her up. She then stamped at me a couple of times before flopping again. She is next to me now, dozing, and just stamped at me for blowing my nose!
- Deciding that she does not belong in a cage or pen and that she should be a free range bunny. She will escape and wake me up at 3am by scratching and headbutting my door until I let her in.
- Stamping at me if I enter my room and disturb her.
- Nudging me away repeatedly if I am trying to clean out her cage
- Jumping on my back when I am bending over to clean her litter tray and using the height to leap onto the kitchen table where her treats are kept.
- Stamping at me when I talk to her if she is under my bed as she thinks I am going to move her.
- Headbutting my partner out of the bedroom (lol).
- Nipping me if she feels I am in her way (when she could quite easily go around!)
Do you have a bigger diva bunny? What does yours do?
