With all that is happening, they have been a lot of news articles on how people can prepare for a disaster.

What would you pick in your emergency kit for your rabbits? These are some thoughts I had:

        *Carrier

*Rabbit first aid kit (including grooming needs)

        *Pellets

        *Hay pucks

        *Portable water dish

That’s about as far as I get. My bunnies get fresh veggies everyday, but that is not something I can store in an emergency go bag, let alone I may not have access to groceries in an emergency.

The Red Cross recommends having 72 hours worth of supplies for an emergency.

Any suggestions for a great bunny emergency go bag?

Edit: There is a thread for that!

This is a great idea, and I think the other thread was more geared towards a medical emergency (like if the vet was closed and something serious was happening), but all of that should of course go in your go bag!

For mine, I would grab the carrier, their x-pen, the big box of hay (or a trash bag full of it), pellets, water bowl, plus their first aid kit (mine is pretty basic, with CC, simethicone, syringes, thermometer), and grooming comb.

Don’t know if it would be worth it to grab a litter box? Probably depends on how quickly we had to get out. We have a pick-up, so space isn’t that limited.

We have a 7 gallon jug of water for emergencies, so that would come too.
