I’ve done verything I can to try and keep Bonnie and Clyde. As you all know! We all liked them so much. I am very disappointed to say they will be going back to the shelter. I know they will be with one of the ladies in charge and she is the one who had them the whole year before they were adopted. So I know they will be well taken care of.
Despite all the blocking and toys every where they still manage to get in trouble. Don’t get me wrong, I know they’re bunnies and like to play, chew and dig. I don’t have a problem with this and had been doing much better the past few days. They even opened up a little bit tonight and played out in the living room while my girls were awake.
About an hour ago they started fighting! Bonnie is dominate and Clyde decided tonight that he didn’t like that. She asked to be groomed and he walked away! Then she chased and bit him. She even mounted his head when he decided to stand up on his hind legs and box her. Then they were chasing even more. So I emailed the shelter right away because I didn’t know what to do. She told me to seperate them for the night. So one of them is now in my bathroom upstairs.
I just took my daughters out of their online schooling through our school district because it wasn’t challanging enough for my older daughter and my younger daughter is struggling and not able to keep up. So I ordered 2 new school curriculums that I will be starting this week. I can’t keep up with that, fighting buns and make sure they aren’t getting into trouble. She asked if I would want to take Rhine back since the family never got back to them yet or if I needed a break.
So, I’m taking a break. It just never seems to work out for me. After I get into a new routine with my girls, if Rhine is still there (hopefully he won’t be though!) in a few weeks I will take him back to foster. They are still trying to find a forever bun for me though. Hopefully I won’t be bunny less too long. I’m really going to miss it.
