Hi everyone,
I’ve recently noticed a few poopy patches on my carpet in the rabbit room. My dwarf, Joey, has never had runny, sticky, or any other poop related problems. The rabbit room is carpeted, and the poop seems to have “soaked” in, with the more formed bits still intact on the top. I’m wondering if this is diarrhea or something else (unformed cecals maybe)? He’s acting normal, running around, sleeping, drinking and eating. His regular poops seem to have changed too. Most are normal sized, while some are very small (around half the size of his regulars). Any ideas?
Some info about Jo, could be relevent/helpful:
-He’s a netherlands dwarf
-around 8-9 months old
-2 pounds
-eating timothy hay (min crude fiber:1%, max crude fiber 32%)
-1/8 cups of pellets a day (have crude fibre 8%, crude protein 16%)
-about 1-2 medium sized romaine lettuce leaves, some green pepper, other rabbit-safe vegetables
