Rabbit Info:
- Rabbit names: Delilah Bunny Holly but we like to call her Bunbun, for the most part.
- Rabbit Age: Unknown for sure
- How long has your bunny been with you? A whopping five days.
- Spayed/Neutered? Not yet, but will be in a week.
- Rabbit Personality Traits (Calm, Diva, Naughty, Feisty, Sweet etc) Delilah is spunky, ambitious Blanc de Hotot. Definitely bright-eyed and bushy tailed.
And here she is, giving the camera her best “I’m so adorable…give me food” look.
- Are you new to rabbits or have you been a bunny slave for a long while now? I’m a newbie, but my boyfriend had a rabbit when he was younger.
- What made you choose to have a rabbit companion in your life? We thought about getting a pet for a while, and thought a rabbit would be a perfect fit for us. We did an extreme amount of research on house rabbit lifestyles, upkeeping, cost, and realized we wanted a rabbit of our own.
We got Delilah from a girl who couldn’t care for the rabbit anymore. It was an exciting moment to see her for the first time; we were quite nervous! Being adopted myself, I felt slightly akin to Delilah (and to my parents for that matter — the waiting, the excitement). She wasn’t scared in the slightest, but instead sniffed my hand and proceeded to nibble on it. It was love at first sight.
As much as I rely on my boyfriend and bunny books, websites, and basically anything I can get my hands on, I’m always interested to hear how bunny parents are raising their little ones. We haven’t had Delilah for long, but we’re so excited she’s a part of our family. We were so excited that we already built her the base of a stellar bunny condo, 2.5 feet by 7.5 feet. I’ll try to take a photo of it. She loves it, seeing as she was living in a crappy wire cage with a WIRE bottom floor. She’s certainly a lovely addition — we were crazed with happiness at her first binky.
Anyway, Delilah and myself are happy to be here! We’re so excited to be a part of a site like this!

Thank you!The condo is really a flat at the moment — we’re still in the middle of constructing it. But Delilah seems quite content with a one level for the time being.
Bunny housing is always a “work-in-progress”! You’ll constantly come up with something you want to move or rearrange or add!
