  So I am trying to decide what I should get for my room. My walls are going to be pretty bare, now that I took every thing down and threw it out. I want to get some wall decals and new switch plates and outlet covers.   I like both sets of decals. I think the second set is cuter though. I’m not a huge fan of the switch plates.

  Thanks! I love that switch plate! So cute! I was looking on etsy for one but couldn’t find one but that one is great!
  
  I am going to order my decals and stuff tonight because my room is almost done being painted. =P Needless to say, I am pooped from painting my room and everything. Long two days and I still have to go over it again tomorrow….lol

  It depends on what color paint you use… the 2nd set would look nice against warm tones, or neutral beiges, the black ones would look nicer against bright or cool colors.
  
  And I agree about the switch plate LBJ posted, the 2 you posted are too… busy.

  I like the second one too! And that switch plate is too cute! I’d love to see how the room turns out!

  I went ahead and ordered the second set of decals in black, so I think it will go well with my room. My room is a light blue color. I just need to add a second coat to it and I will be finished (with painting anyway! lol)
  
  I am still searching for the perfect light switch cover. Hopefully I can find one. I agree, MonkeyBun, those other light switches are a bit busy.

  I love the decals. I think you can make them look dramatic and grown up with some silver and gold metallic accents with the light blue paint color.
  
  Not sure however about a switchplate – that may look a bit too nursery in my opinion. You don’t want to overdo it.

  I definitely think you are right about it being too nursery. I was thinking the same thing. lol I am likely going to either get wood switch plates (my floor is laminate and looks like wood, so it will match) or something simple so it doesn’t look to babyish. lol

  Some artists I really like that do rabbits are Will Bullas – here is his “Atilla the Bun” picture – have this on a t-shirt I own:

  There is another rabbit artist who I love that of course I cannot think of the name but have framed (it’s four rabbits in some Renassiance type costumes) that I love – my mother says this particular art work looks like it belongs in a nursery too – I love it but the matte is a periwinkle type color with a white frame – so yeah, it does look like a nursery. I’ll look when I get home because I cannot remember her name for the life of me and she does some very pretty watercolor type pictures with flowers (except for those Renaissance Rabbits which I do think are watercolors too but they are obviously more stylized less gardenish).
  
  But yeah, you don’t want to overdo it – I used to have tons of rabbit stuff too and I finally had to give it away – I figured hey, got the real thing :~) I of course, didn’t give everything away but alot.

  I got a switch plate and outlet covers. They are nice. Not bunny but they are pretty nice. I also bought some new shutters for my bedroom. =D It’s coming along well.

  Wow! Even the ceiling – that creates a cool effect.
  
  With the switch covers and decals, you can always change or add more in down the track. It wouldnt be difficult to do one like the link LBJ posted. Just using a fabric you like and some starch. You can do wall decals this way too.
