I guess I’ll start out the picture thread this month!
Sidney and Tanger on their new Christmas present that Daddy gave them before Christmas!

This one was actually after she was begging for treats, she jumped down, and then peeked back up and looked at me, and I was like “WAIT STAY SO I CAN GET A PHOTO!”

Also, Nala enjoys the new litter box I got, even though she enjoyed the tiny one too, and stomped and snorted(growled? It sounded like a snort.) at Duchess when she tried to join her.

Jerseygirl — they are such happy little bratscals, aren’t they? They have this whole house bunny-whipped. After reading what bad comments so many breeders and people have to say about them it really makes me sad. I mean, yes… Tans are definitely not a breed you should look at if you’re looking for a bunny that lounges around and doesn’t get into stuff because WELL it’s guaranteed they are going to do everything they shouldn’t. I know people say each bunny has a different personality in the same breed (which is definitely true) but it’s just guaranteed from everything I’ve ever read about Tans that they are very, VERY active. Even my girl who is a very calm girl even has a very hyper side compared to other bunnies it seems. AND destructive. VERY destructive. Even as they have aged this hasn’t gone away. But we’ve learned to cater to them and provide them with different options to destroy things rather than things they shouldn’t. They are such social little buns and such an amazing little breed of creatures inside and out. I can understand why people say these things as myself I have gotten VERY flustered with their ability to never sleep (even during the day they are banging to come out) and their constant need to tear the house apart but as they’ve grown so have we and learned how to direct their behavior to other things. I wish others would take the time to learn more about the Tan needs and give them the things necessary to get their energy out daily. I really wish I could save every Tan from being with breeders and owners who I think just don’t understand them as well as they need to be understood. Le sigh. *end rant!*
BunnyDaddy — I didn’t realize she has a white nose on Duchess! It’s really beautiful. And Nala is gorgeous as always. A total Diva in her new litter box!

Instead of starting a separate thread I’m going to do a little “Lola Photo Explosion” for her one-year birthday! My baby has gotten so big! We keep joking that when we brought her home she was the size that her head is now.

This is the newest member of my family. Her name is Petunia but we call her Tooney for short. She’s a Holland Lop and has the most beautiful blue eyes. As of now she and Benji are living in separte quarters and will be for a while until I can get them both fixed.
She is slowly coming out of shell when interacting with me. I can tell she really likes it with us which makes me happy to see.

LOLAAAAAA. Ugh, BMT — you’re making me feel soooo old now! You reminded me that my buns are going to be turning a year old in 2 months. I swear, Little Fleury was the size of his head now too! Well, his sisters head. His head is so tiny compared to his big sisters! LOL. It makes his ears look wayyyyy too big on his head. Lola is such a furry little fuzzball, I love it!

Awh, today I made myself sad, I was going through my phone, deleting a bunch of pictures and videos because my SD card was full, and I found a whole bunch of photos and videos of Simba. ;_; I miss him so much.
This has to be my favorite picture of him, I accidentally fell asleep with him in my room and he woke me up for pets.

Binx- so far we’ve only lost a router cord and a lamp. Finn shows zero interest in the fat cords or I wouldn’t let him back there. He nudges them out of the way but never chews them.
Bunny daddy I know how you feel. I deleted all of the pictures of lil buns the other day… They were just too painful to look at. I saved them on a photo sharing website though, just in case

Yeah! It looks better on Mimzy though, Lily’s is a little small for her, so we’ll take it back. Don’t you hate being at the store and not knowing your pets size…

Everyone’s buns are so adorable! It’s addicting to look at bun pictures, so I thought I’d share some of JB. His new nickname is 00bun, as his initials could stand for James Bond.

We’ve lost, 2 xbox headsets, a laptop charging chord, a set of earbuds, 2 lamps (one had a fatter chord), my phone chord, and 2 nook charging cables. -_- We don’t keep them where they can get them, it’s just like we own two Houdinis! Oh, and Zeppo chewed a hole in my mom’s couch because he couldn’t fit under it, so he chewed until he could. >_>
But then I see moments like this, and it’s totally worth it. <3

My long eared clowns have the entire bungalow and play area, what do I find when I get home last night
Yep, Everyone crammed into 1/5 of the bungalow like sardines. This appears to be how they prefer it. Even when they are in the paly area and pooped from playing they like to lay together in a puddle. Pepper always ends up in the middle.

Thanks for all the compliments on the brats, guys! And yes, Sidney is always looking regal. I always call her my beautiful princess. She’s always so dainty about the way she runs, the way she hops, the way she digs, and everything. It’s so interesting and cute compared to my brute of boys. She digs so lightly with her front paws, I can’t even stand to watch it’s just so adorable.
Bunnies in holiday gear. Ugh! I wish I could get my three to sit still for even 5 seconds so I could assemble some sort of holiday thing and put them in front of it but I’m afraid I’d pull out all my hair in frustration before I got any real photos of them. Ha!
BunnyDaddy — I’m so sorry for your loss still. It wasn’t long ago but now you had TWO beautiful girls that love you now and Simba will always be in your heart I’m sure. <3 He was the first jump into this crazy bunny world!
JB is absolutely stunning! I love him! He’s such an elegant bun! And I love the James Bond reference! Hahahahah. It looks like the name would actually fit him quite well!
Binx, those little furry faces all smushed into the ground! Absolutely to die for!
Roberta, my trio does the same thing! Smoosh themselves all together. They used to do it more when they were younger. All three of them would squish into the same litter box, it was hysterical. But they all love plopping down and laying together now. Just in not so tight quarters anymore.

Yeah, I miss him a lot, but I think I’m more protective of these two girls because I’m afraid of losing them like Simba. I actually got sad because my mom always has said “Nice one Simba.” when someone like burps or completely trips over their feet. But, Duchess and Nala has been warming up nice to everyone in the house, except my nephew, he hasn’t been allowed near them because he’s currently in his terrible twos. He was real nice to Simba, but he grew up with Simba, and he knew how to act. But he keeps meowing at them through their cage for some odd reason, I think it’s because they look different than Simba, with their ears being up right and not floppy.
And yes he was the first jump, I’ve always wanted a rabbit, since I was 10 or 11, but last year I was on a kick about getting a cat (Or a hamster, mouse or rat.), and my mom didn’t like that our previous cat refused to use her litter box (after we took her to the vet and made sure there was nothing wrong with her, I personally think she didn’t like that it was an electric one that moved when she got out of it.) Also, she said she didn’t want something that could get loose and breed with something in my room, pffft my room’s not THAT messy! 
Sooo she got me Simba, I already knew a whole bunch of stuff about rabbits from research in the past, but I still did a whole bunch to refresh my memory. He was the best though, and I’m glad I had a good first experience with a rabbit, otherwise I’m not sure if I’d like them this much if I didn’t have that experience. Speaking of rabbits though, it’s just about time to give the terror twins their salad. So I shall say goodbye for now. -
I have stuff for Christmas pictures but I’m not sure I’ll ever get to it. I did stalk the buns with my nice camera this weekend though…

Inspecting the new order:
Sweets got her very first only her photoshoot the other night so she can have a “scratched” portrait like Bunjamin. (These are not nikon photos so they’re not as clear)
She was a little nervous at first
Then she got comfortable:
(this is the one that’ll be scratched)Then she chased the camera around for “pets” until Andy came home. Then she did this (first time I’ve seen her do the one-ear)
And of course I had a hard time not getting Bunjamin in all those photoshoots. He gets pretty jealous so his butt is in most of them. Plus they’re inseparable

I swear the boys know when I post pictures of them and people compliment. It seems like their egos grow! Lol, Mimzy, we are all crazy. A bun owner has to be since they pretty much turn us into slaves!
Now I’m gonna go back to being sickly and disappear for a couple more days.

Ok so Dulce isn’t quite as photogenic as most of your guy’s buns lol. I did manage to get a few “action” shots when he was otherwise engaged. Also don’t mind the messy carpet please. I’ve got a bird, a dog and the bunny so even with daily vaccuming it’s quite impossible to keep clean any suggestions would be great. His aspen shaving bedding tracks everywhere and sticks to everything.
The vent seems to be one of his favorite spots to relax at lol.

It’s a triangleish one built for rabbits that screws onto the side of the cage. He can’t dump it so if he doesn’t like it he just kicks it all out. The litterbox isn’t so much the problem as the inside of the cage is lined with shavings because all the towels and fleece I’ve tried he pees on them he doesn’t like them in there. I put some shavings in the bottom and he lays on those. He’s litter trained and won’t pee on the bedding shavings so the only issue is the tracking of the shavings from him running around the cage they fly out lol.So the shavings are on the floor of his house? Those are unnecessary unless it is in the litter box. Otherwise, it is going to cost you more money and make a lot of messes

They are but don’t let them have the seeds zoologist. They are toxic. I think :/I have read that they are toxic as well. But I just wanted to add that before I knew that Lola used to eat bits of apple cores and seeds all the time and never acted funny. Of course, she doesn’t get them now that I know but after I read about it at work one day I spent ALL day stressing that I was going to come home to a ill or dead rabbit and she was perfectly fine. Every rabbit is probably a little different with tolerances but I didn’t want ya to freak out if he did have some seeds!
I just want to play with Cheddy’s wrinkles. Is that weird? SO cute.

Everyone has some super adorable photos! I love the baby pictures, I wish I’d had Quinn when she was smaller but I didn’t adopt her till she was almost full grown. That’s okay though, it meant I never had to litterbox train! I’d love to share these two christmas photos with you guys, they are my favorite ones of her:

Yeah c: Do you know what breed Quinn is? I was told Duchess was a dutch mix at the shelter, but dutch rabbits have the distinct pattern, although it may just be because she’s mixed with something else. But seeing as they look almost identical, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask.

Yeah, I don’t know about a Dutch. They are suuuper distinctive. I did a little research when I first got Quinn and found that I think she’s a black satin, because of her coloring and how incredibly sleek her coat is. Pure satins are all one color I think, so she might be a mix of some of the other colored one, just like Duchess!

Thank you everyone for your concern about apple seeds and explaining why they’re toxic! I did know that they were toxic, and I do remove the seeds before feeding him apple treats. I didn’t know they were toxic because of cyanide (really???) so that’s good to know!
I bought Finn a BIG bag of timothy hay and dropped it near his cage when I got home from the pet store. He was nipping at the bag so I thought “eh, why not open it and let him munch from the bag?” I knew it would make for some cute pics

So… I moved the litter box Nala likes to chill in most the time so I can stick their veggies in for them to eat and came back about two hours later to take the plate away and put the box back and this was her response to me taking the box away:
“Take my box away… *grumble grumble* I just have to sit on this stupid plate… *Grumble grumble.* Stupid human…”
Also, you can see that they don’t like the radishes I chopped up for them, they loved the tops though! Simba used to LOVE radishes, well I guess there’s more for my dad and sister since they love them too.

I haven’t posted in quite awhile, so I haven’t been keeping up to date on the pictures!! So many are adorable though, I’d have a huge long post if I decided to comment on all of them!

Wow, so I just realized none of us have been posting in this thread very often! I guess it’s expected with the holidays and all of the activities surrounding them… BUT figured I’d help get us started back up with some more new ones of the Tans! It’s more of a Tanger photo shoot but the other two show up in a few too! My baby Tang was being such a mommas boy the other night though… I couldn’t help but capture every moment.

I know, my little baby! I kind of disappeared for a while. Moved house and I’ve been on placement for the past month and a half!! I’ll need to get pictures of her now that she’ll be here for a few weeks instead of up and down from my mums to my boyfriends haha! I’ve started changing her onto adult feed today (which I think I maybe should have done earlier :S) and it made me feel like such a proud bun mum hah!!! I’ll try snap a pic of her munching it

Frankie – We didn’t have snow here for 218 days before we got our first dose this year. For Minnesota that’s just pure craziness that it took us that long to get any! If I knew a way to ship it I’d send a pile big enough for bun play time your way.
And no bun-napping! Though trading for a week may be an option. Frankie and his new girlfriend are such an adorable little couple! So many adorable buns! They need to put a head explosion disclaimer on the forums, lol!

TL – I’m not sure how much she weighs but I think she’ll be smaller than your tans because she’s really tiny that pic just makes her look quite big hah! I don’t think she was getting enough greens for a while and I think it stopped her growing as much. I’ve upped her amount now and she’s looking much better and she has that little chubbiness about her again I think she might have a bit of a winter coat too which is bulking her up a bit . -

They’re just sucky cell phone quality, but our camera’s are filled with Christmas photos that I can’t delete yet. Also, they’re a bit angry about being contained in a smaller place, due to the tree being up, normally the pen is used to keep them out from behind the wood burner so they don’t get burned, but it wasn’t big enough to put around both things….
