I was trimming Finns Nails the other day and I noticed that at the base of the nail it looks like what is dead nail skin it’s like really loose pale white skin and I’m worried is that normal and should I just gently pull it off or is it a Calcium deficiency or something else?

I assume you are referring to dry, dead cuticle tissue. Often my buns will get like a little ring of dead cuticle right at the base of the nail. I’m finicky about stuff like that so I gently scrape it in a downward motion with my nail. It usually just falls of the nail in a ring. Just make sure not to damage the healthy cuticle.
